My evening routine

Posted 2 years ago

From eating to studying

As a university student, I have a busy and hectic schedule during the day. I attend lectures, seminars, tutorials, and workshops, as well as work on assignments, projects, and essays. But when the sun sets and the night falls, I like to wind down and relax with some simple and enjoyable activities. Here is my evening routine at uni:

- Dinner: Around 6 pm, I head to the cafeteria or the kitchen to have dinner with my friends or flatmates. We chat about our day, share jokes, and catch up on the latest news. Sometimes we order takeaway or cook something together, depending on our mood and budget.

- Study: After dinner, I usually spend an hour or two reviewing what I learned that day or working on some pending tasks. I find this helps me consolidate my knowledge and stay on top of my deadlines. I use a planner to organize my workload and prioritize the most important or urgent things.

- Entertainment: Around 9 pm, I switch off my laptop and phone and indulge in some entertainment. This could be watching a movie or a show on Netflix, playing a video game, reading a book, listening to music, or browsing social media. I like to vary my choices depending on what I feel like doing that night.

- Self-care: Before going to bed, I like to do some self-care activities to pamper myself and prepare for a good night's sleep. This could be taking a shower or a bath, applying some skincare products, doing some yoga or meditation, or writing in a journal. I find this helps me relax and unwind after a long day.

- Sleep: Around 11 pm, I turn off the lights and go to sleep. I try to get at least eight hours of sleep every night, as I know this is essential for my health and well-being. I also use an alarm clock to wake me up at a reasonable time the next morning.

This is my evening routine at uni. It may not be very exciting or glamorous, but it works for me. It helps me balance my academic and personal life, as well as maintain my physical and mental health. What is your evening routine at uni? Let me know in the comments below!
